The first thought I had after creating this site was "What can I do with this now that I have it?" Thus, the creation of the background music player and my photography feed were born.

The music player, overall, is pretty basic but does what I would like it to. You'll find it at the bottom right of the page. Hovering over it will cause it to expand and reveal the volume slider. Clicking the sword icon will play/pause the song. The player will remember where in the song you left off should you pause it.

What is the song, you ask? None other thanMasayoshi Soken's *'Neath Dark Waters*, used to portray Amaurot in *Final Fantasy XIV* \- one of my personal favorites.

My photography page is entirely automatic and comes from my Instagram feed. It will update here every time I post without any intervention from me.

Using Meta's API for professional accounts, I am able to pull directly from my Instagram feed. I created an API server that runs in Docker and securely fetches my Instagram content. When the photography page loads, you may see "Loading photography..." This is the site interacting with that API server and retrieving my photos.

The appearance, while Instagram-esque, is managed solely here on the site via HTML. I wanted to avoid embedding Instagram into the site. While it would've worked, this method was more fun and gives me more freedom to change it how I like. I just happen to like the style of the grid that Instagram uses and decided to keep it pretty similar.

Overall, these changes were very fun to make and I'm looking forward to making additional changes in the future.
